WE HAVE 4 KITTENS!!!
Wednesday, April 22, 2009
I have to start by telling you how much I miss writing on my blog. I don't have much time right now, but I love telling stories about my boys and recording my life one day at a time. As Luke gets older, it may be a little easier to write, but I certainly don't want to rush things. If there is one thing I've learned as a mother, it's that TIME FLIES!!! I am thankful that I've been able to really cherish this baby, partially because I believe it to be our last. I want to make sure that I take enough pictures and write down all of the cute stories. After all, this IS what life is all about...

Here are the brothers getting ready to watch Despereaux. Gabe did a great job holding Luke. He even held his passy in, but after a few minutes he tilted his head to the side and said in a high pitched voice "Mommy, you hold him?"
Luke has started smiling for real and I have wanted to catch it on camera but I'm never quite fast enough. I was able to catch the tail-end of this one! I'll keep trying!

red-handed...
Gabe got up first this morning and asked for oatmeal. I made the mistake of leaving the tupperware full of brown sugar on the counter when I went back into my bedroom to check my email before the other boys woke up. When I came back into the kitchen, Gabe had the container in front of him and a spoon in his hand. He looked at me like a deer in headlights! He was waiting for my reaction. Then he said "I'm doing nuffing in my mouth". I about rolled on the floor! And I must admit, he gets it honest. I love to sneak a taste of brown sugar. Yum!

no training wheels!!!
My big boy Isaiah mastered riding his bike without training wheels today! He has been practicing just gliding and balancing for the past few days. Today he went ahead and put his feet up on the pedals and off he went! He was immediately able to start and stop by himself. He looks like he's been doing it all his life! And the proud grin on his face makes a Mommy and Daddy feel like a million bucks!

the mind of a 3 year old
The other day, Isaiah asked for a grilled cheese sandwich. Unsure of what that was, Gabe still decided he wanted to try one, but he wanted "boy cheese". It was so cute listening to Isaiah try to explain it to Gabe. Precious moments...
