Sorry friends and family! I am so disappointed int myself that I let this happen! Almost 2 months?!?! Where to begin... life is crazy. Fun crazy, most of the time ;) We are settling into a better homeschool routine. It's definitely not for sissy's! But this is what I keep coming back to:
~Watching the boys do rock-paper-scissors outside yesterday
~Lily tripped and Luke (my rough and tumble ALL BOY) rushed over and said "you okay sis-sis?"
~or when they get a case of the giggles at the school table :)
With these spring-like days, I have definitely had a case of spring cleaning fever. One of the projects that has been on the back burner for a while is our bedroom/bathroom. There's nothing "master" about it, and I just wanted it to feel more like an adult space, rather than the catch-all spot for the misc. crap that I find lying around the house. Our computer/office corner in our bedroom has been a jumbled mess for years. Justin and I found this inspiration picture and have designed our own version which he is in the process of building.
It's pretty cool having a jack-of-all-trades for a husband! I have yet to find something he CAN'T do! This inspired me to give our boring-so-not-master bathroom and facelift :)
I am thrilled with the results!!! I never cease to be amazed at the power of a can of paint!
A few weeks ago, Gabe and I started with a stomach virus in the middle of the night. It was the worst I have ever been sick in the my life! It took days to have enough energy the not feel exhausted from simple things like taking a shower. Two days later, Justin, Luke and Lily all started with it within 10-15 minutes of each other in the middle of the night! It was insane!!! It looked like Isaiah managed to avoid it... until two days later... Our house looked like an infirmary for a whole week!!!
Justin and I got a babysitter and went out on a real date! We went to the Piedmont Ale House for drinks and then Harusaki for sushi. We stayed out for 3 whole hours (our longest date EVER) and it was fabulous! As we were finishing up our sushi our conversation went like this:
Justin: it's been fun
Me: but it's almost over (with a sad face)
Justin: it's okay, I like what I'm going home to (as my heart melted into a puddle on the floor!!!)
Justin came home with this for the the other day! No special reason, just saw it and knew I would like it :)

Oh, that last picture of Luke is awesome, you need to frame it. Justin looks like a Samarai or some kind of warrior with that ponytail, hilarious!!!
