Adventures in Motherhood!

I know this picture is a bit graphic, but I couldn't resist. I was on the phone with a stained glass customer this morning so I went in my bedroom where it was quite. Apparently Isaiah had pooped in his diaper and tried to clean it up himself... as you can see here. While I was still on the phone, he walked into my bedroom naked and said, "Maaama, I got poop on my buuuutt!" It was difficult to hold it together and be professional at this point, but I managed to finish my conversation and more importantly "proud" my son for trying to get his poop into the potty! :) Motherhood, there's definately nothing like it!

Our trip to the Adirondacks

Over the 4th of July week, we went to a family reunion at my parents cabin in Westport, NY on Lake Champlain. It was wonderful to see family members I hadn't seen in years. And what a beautiful place, we didn't want to leave! We kayaked, sailed and did some light hiking. Isaiah had a blast playing with my 7 yr. old cousin Bucky and Maggie and Tucker, Mom and Dad's dog's. Gabe slept better than ever... that beautiful mountain air!
