Justin has been out of town, and we usually watch a show together after the kids have gone to bed, but when he's gone, we don't watch anything and save it for when he gets home. So... sometimes, I hit the sack immediately. Other times I want to just hang out alone for a bit. The other night I worked on a project idea I found on Pinterest. I already had this frame under my bed and used the leftover screen we had. I had to buy the hooks, a whole $1.98 for a pack of at least 20! I really like how it turned out. It's nice having my jewelry not all mixed up in the drawer with my toothpaste, etc! Maybe I will wear it more often!?

crazy boys

I have recently been making some changes/improvements to our homeschool. We are at the time of year where I should probably be looking towards wrapping things up, but I feel like we've just really found our groove and are on a roll. I will be scheduling their end of year testing soon, but I suspect we will be doing some unit studies over the summer just so we don't completely lose our routine. I bought a whiteboard the other day and the boys quickly took it over! A child psychologist would have a field-day with their drawings! :/

Big girl

Lily has never been a fan of the sippy cup, but as I am slowly working towards weening her, I try to offer it more. Problem is, she points to the boys cups and wants to drink from them instead! Well at least THAT doesn't complicate things... (rolling my eyes) She does an amazing job for a 1 year old, but we've had our fair share of spills! Here's the proud big girl.... (sniff-sniff)

You lookin' at me?!

The basketball hoop!

This awesome basketball hoop was a gift from my mom and John. We are LOVING it!!! It was a pretty involved installation, and way to costly to mess up! It took a few days start to finish. It was sort of a marriage exercise :) We got through it with very little tension, mostly flirting and jokes! It was fun working on it together. Today, Justin and I were out there together shooting hoops and cracking one liners from one of our favorite movies (Along Came Polly). This basketball hoop is going to be great family activity/bonding place!
