Last week we started a school-day with this little project. I saw a la-di-da version of it in Better Homes & Gardens and loved the idea. It reminder me that I did something like this at the Pulse Gym where I used to work, only we traced the kids hands and wrote on them instead of leaves. Anyway, the boys enjoyed thinking of what they wanted to write. Isaiah put food, our family my house... Gabe put Grandma, Jesus, God... and they both put Santa! I had a nice chuckle about that one. School is really falling into a comfortable routine. One Friday, Gabe ASKED if we could start school!!! Not lying! :)

I really enjoy doing crafts. I'm quite sure I get it through the Kaiser blood. My Grandmother is amazing, she can do ANYTHING! Later on in my life, I will enjoy spending time making things. For now, I enjoy the few chances I get. Justin's buddy at work, Joseph, and his wife, are expecting their first child in January. They found out it was a boy and already picked a name. I was so excited to get to make another name plaque. I made one for Lily's room and have been itching to paint ever since. It's nothing special, anyone could do it, but for some reason I just really enjoy it. I might even try to sell them for ten bucks or something. It would make a cute baby shower gift and would pay for me to get a Starbucks every now and then! :) :) :)
This one is not finished but I wanted to go ahead and post it. I show you the finished version before I give it to them.

Here's "Lil" keeping me company in the kitchen...
